Free Movie Screening FAQs

BPBT · BEFORE YOU GO

Free movie?
Read this part first.

Listen, we love a free screening. We also want you to get there with the right pass, the right expectations, and your movie buddy beside you. Here’s how this works.

The three things to remember: Claim your pass. Arrive early. Bring your guest with you. A pass is required, but a seat is never guaranteed.
Do I need a pass?

Yes, bestie. Free does not mean walk right in! Claim your pass through the screening’s official link before heading out. A BPBT post, screenshot, or RSVP is not an admission pass.

Does a pass guarantee me a seat?

Nope. These screenings are first come, first seated, and may be overbooked to help fill the theater. Even with a pass, admission is not guaranteed. Arriving early gives you a better shot; it does not reserve a seat.

How do I get my pass?

Tap “Claim My Free Pass” on the screening listing. You may need to create a free account with the screening provider. Follow its steps, select the available guest allowance, and save the actual pass. If passes are gone, check for an official waitlist or check back—availability can change.

Where is the screening?

The theater details live with the official pass information. We keep the location off our screening cards because seeing a movie title and an address is not the same as having a pass! Check the location and instructions on the claim page or confirmation before making plans. If that location does not work for you, leave those passes for someone who can go.

Do I have to print my pass?

Check the instructions on your individual pass. Many screenings accept a pass on your phone, but some may require a printed copy or have restrictions on phones. If mobile entry is allowed, download it ahead of time, charge your phone, and have it ready. Bring photo ID if requested.

How early should I arrive?

Give yourself at least an hour before showtime when possible, plus time for parking and the line. Popular screenings can draw a crowd well before that. Follow the organizer’s arrival instructions; doors-open time is not a promise that a seat will still be available when you arrive.

Can I save a seat for my friend?

Plan to arrive and enter together. Do not count on saving a seat or using one pass for separate arrivals. The number of guests and entry rules printed on your pass control. If your pass includes a +1, have that person with you when you check in.

Is this a BPBT group outing?

A shared screening does not automatically mean Mia or the BPBT crew will be there. We will say so when it is a planned group outing. Passes, seating, changes, and admission decisions are handled by the screening organizer.

Anything else before I head out?

Recheck your confirmation for schedule changes, age restrictions, ID requirements, bag policies, and phone or recording rules. Free admission does not automatically include parking, concessions, or other extras. Cannot make it? Release your pass through the provider if that option is available.

Your pass has the final word. These are general tips; each organizer’s current instructions take priority.
